Three Big Takeaways from Printing United Expo 2022
The leading event in printing, the PRINTING United Expo, just completed in Las Vegas and we're excited to announce we were among the attendees. The event featured product launches, keynote educational speakers, networking opportunities, live demonstrations and more! Too much, in fact, to feasibly encompass in a single blog, so here are our top takeaways from the 3-day long event:
1. Sustainability is here to stay A highlight of the show, James McCall, the Chief Sustainability Officer at HP, delivered a powerful speech on building sustainability into your business to create a competitive advantage. Sustainability draws in modern consumers and helps move your business forward. Reducing your environmental footprint is good for the planet, good for your customers, and good for your business.
2. Don't spread yourself too thin in marketing In a keynote speech, Joe Pulizzi (author of Content Inc.), discussed steps to building a loyal customer base and a key takeaway was this: choose one thing and get really good at it before adding more to your marketing plate. An example of this would be to curate one really spectacular social media feed on one app rather than having a mediocre presence on multiple apps. This increases customer loyalty while also helping you maintain focus.
3. Technology is always getting better One of the greatest things about an expo is getting to see in action all the latest advancements in technology in action. From wide format to die cutting to foil to spot UV, we saw printers and finishing equipment that could do it all! We're excited to be able to start offering these new advancements and can't wait to share them with you all. --
We had such a great time at the PRINTING United Expo this year! Connecting with others in the industry is always a highlight of the year and we're so happy to share with you some of our key takeaways.
